Honey bees are marvelous insects that help us to produce much of the food we eat. This unit study will dive into topics like the beehives, honey, royal jelly, beeswax, beekeeping, pollination, bee dances, and the 3 types of bees in the colony.
Activities include diagraming the anatomy of the bee, the lifecycle, timeline of a bee's day, and a venn diagram.
There is a 25 word vocabulary list with definitions and accompanying worksheets. For younger kids there are tracing and copy work activities, grid drawing, and coloring pages.
