Baking with Math: Delicious Homeschool Learning

Happy 2024! I fully intended to publish this post last month while holiday baking was in full swing but my entire household fell sick and things of course got set back. But that's ok! This is a fun post to kick off a new year, a little inspiration for learning while baking. I love bringing learning into the kitchen. It not only teaches math, but also teaches cooking and baking skills to kids with a nice treat at the end. Let's be honest, most kids won't say no to learning fractions with cookies or understanding measurements with pizza dough. Let's dive in and review the different ways that learning in the kitchen can be as awesome as the final result – a seriously yummy treat!




Measuring Matters: The Precision of Math
